Students Council Association

The activities of Students Council and Cultural Association were organized by the members and volunteers of the committee with zeal and enthusiasm. The inauguration of Cultural Association was organized on 30th Aug 2016. General Secretary Arjun Patankar and Cultural Secretary Ashish Kamble motivated the students those who were talented and interested to in arts and cultural activities to participate in college and inter college programmes and display their ability in dance, drama, mono acting etc. Teachers Day was also celebrated on the same day as the 5th Sept. was the sunday. Prof. Anantha Narayan was the chief guest of the function.

On 1st and 2nd Aug. 2016, Arjun Patankar and Siddarth Raibhole from S.Y.B.Com attended leadership Training Camp in SIWS college, wadala, Mumbai.

The resource person Mr.Sandeep Palve, of YIN-Young Inspirators Network conducted a seminar on the leadership skill to the students on 26th Sept. 2016. The resource person Mr.Sandeep Palve was the G.S. of Dr. Ambedkar College, in the year 2015-16. He was also elected as Chief Minister of Maharashtra in YIN in the year 2015-16.

S.Y.B.Com student Siddarth Raibole bagged second Prize for Beat Boxing from SIWS College, Mumbai. He had also been selected by MTV channel for Beat Boxing performance. A short documentary film had also been produced by the channel on his journey in Beat Boxing. He had also been invited to perform by Awaz India. Mr. Arjun Patankar, the G.S. of the college had participated in the seminar organized by YIN on 4th and 5th Aug. 2016. S.Y.B.Com student Umesh Yadav bagged first prize in singing competition in SIWS College.
